Description
A dainty sterling silver swing handled basket by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths of London. It has the London hallmark for 1912 (George V) to the body and the repeat mark on the handle. There are decorative scroll details around the rim and base and the body is gently panelled. To the underside of the base is a registered design number. At the size this item would be for sweets, mints or nuts etc.
Condition
Generally very good, one very minor indent to the body. Some rubbing of the hallmarks to the body. General light wear.
