Description

An early 20th century hallmarked sterling silver sauce boat from Harrods.  It takes some of the Georgian inspiration and has an open loop handle and a broad pouring spout.  It is hallmarked to the side below the rim from the Sheffield assay office with the date letter for 1932.  The makers mark is RWB which is for RW Burbridge who was chairman of Harrods, London and used this mark on Harrods silverware. 
 

Condition

Some light surface wear in keeping with period.  Otherwise very good.
