Description

An antique sterling silver pencil holder.  It has an engraved barrel with scroll and stylised foliage design.  It has a collar slider which pushes out a pencil stub (there is a stub in place).  It is hallmarked near the top of the barrel.  To one side it is marked S Mordan & Co and the other side has a London hallmark with date letter for 1900.  There is a sturdy suspension loop to one end. 
 
 

Condition

Generally very good for period.  Slider working.  Hallmarks a little rubbed from handling.
