Description

A late 19th century Victorian period silver dish.  It has pierced work sides and decorative details around the rim with scroll and flower detail.  The hallmark is for London 1897 and the makers mark is for William Comyns.  It was likely intended for sweets etc, but can of course be used for many purposes.

 

Condition

Generally good for period, a few very small indents and some speckling of the surface to the inside.  Normal light period wear.
