Description

A Victorian period travelling lectern or book stand.  It fold flat and has multiple positions for the angle of the top.  It features a brass plate with cut out detail and embossed decoration.  There are two weighted cords for holding pages open.  It stands on four bun feet secured with slot head screws.  Would date to the Gothic revival period circa 1880.

See images for overall condition. Normal period wear and aging.  One bracket holding the ledge to the body moved over due to previous damage.
