Description
A most unusual Victorian period round brooch. It is in the Pugin style and made up of glass tiles with the sparkly areas made to resemble goldstone. The Victorians made many interesting pieces during this period trying out different materials and styles. It is set in a white metal mount which appears to be silver plated copper with the plating beginning to wear. It has a pin and c hook clasp, typical of the period.

Condition: Minor wear to the face. A couple of small fractures through the outer blue glass tile. The hinge has been repaired or replaced. Hinge and pin working fine.
