Description
An Art Deco period costume jewellery brooch by Neiger Brothers. It features a Chinese dragon with four Czech glass green cabochons and Chinese characters. The brooch body is of filigree style. The brooch is of silver tone with darker patinated detail and the reverse is dark patinated. It has a standard pin and hinge fastening with a double c hook which may originally have had a central roll over fixing. The pin is holding fine in the clasp as is. This design appears to be quite rare and the silver tone is unusual.
