Description

An Art Deco period Sterling silver cigarette case by the Birmingham maker of Samuel Levi.  It has the Birmingham hallmark for 1939 along with the makers mark stamped to the interior.  The case is engine turned on both sides and has decorative details in the corners.  It has a spring latch opening with finger lip.  The interior is gilded, the elastic is no longer present.


Condition

Minor period wear as expected, some speckling of the gilt interior.  Hinge and latch all good and working fine. No elastic to the interior.
