Description
A 1970's 9ct gold ring with a central natural sapphire of oval facet cut form. The sapphire is approx. 0.88 carat and is a dark blue colour. The halo is an illusion type with four tiny diamonds with one at each of the cardinal points. The shoulders are textured and the rest of the band is of plain form. Inside the band it has a full Birmingham hallmark for 9 carat gold with the date letter for 1976 and the makers initials HS.

Condition: Generally good. Slight wear along the facet edges of the sapphire requiring a magnifier to see. A tiny nibble to the girdle edge along the stone. Very difficult to see without magnification. Professionally cleaned, polished and ready to wear or gift.
