Description
A fine quality 1980's vintage amethyst and diamond ring. The amethyst is a lovely deep purple tone with strong colour depth. It is flanked by three good quality diamonds on each side. The diamonds appear near colourless and VVS clarity. The amethyst is oval facet cut and approx. 1 carat in size. The diamonds total approx. 0.2 carats. The band is of plain form and the stones are all raised up off the band to allow extra light through. Inside the band it has a hallmark from the London assay office with date letter for 1988. It is also marked MB which would be the makers mark and A237 which will be a stock code or similar.
A lovely looking ring with an outstanding amethyst which was probably intended as an engagement ring originally.
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation gift box.
