Description
Three wonderful hand made glasses in the Facon de Venise style. These were made by Nuova Venier of Murano, Venise in the closing years of the 20th century. They are entirely mouth blown and they contain 24 carat gold flecks. They are part of the Collezione Venier and are from the Shah of Persia series which they still produce today, they are made on commission.
The company has a museum in Murano and is still going today. The prices reflect the history and artisanship of the production. We have provenance with these items, they were purchased in 1993 directly from the glassworks, the price at that time was £1000 for the three. The original bill of sale is included with the glasses. The three glasses comprise of two wines which are of slightly different size and a broad rim cocktail glass. The designs are based on examples from the 17th century.

All in very good order with minimal signs of use.
