Description

A pair of antique sterling silver candlesticks. They have Adams style decoration to the columns and gadrooned detail to the top of the bases. They are hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 with the makers mark probably for Ellis & Co.
 
The bases are loaded and have a green fabric covering.  They also have repeat marks to the underside.  The nozzles are integrated and not removeable. 
 
 
 
Condition

 

Both generally good for period and have been kept largely polished.  Some discolouration of the fabric to the bases. Very small knocks and indents around the nozzles.
