Description

A pair of mid 20th century Moorcroft pottery short candlesticks.  They are in the hibiscus pattern with tubelined flowers and leaves. Each candlestick has two flowers with leaves separating the blooms.  They are in a sea green glaze and note that the flowers have slightly different tones on each piece.  To the undersides they both have the Moorcroft impressed marks and one has Made In England.  Also note one candlestick has a green wash to the underside where the other is left plain.  
 
 
 

Condition

Both in very good order with light crazing as typical of Moorcroft of this period. One candlestick has a tiny blip in the glaze around the base from production.
