Unisex 9ct Gold Ring With Cats Eye Sillimanite Cabochon Signet Design B'ham 2005 UK Size S (Code A999)

Description

A 9ct gold unisex signet style ring.  It has textured shoulders with a polished band running through the centre.  The star feature is the cat's eye sillimanite cabochon.  In a strong point light you get the cat's eye effect you see in the lead image.  In soft light it has a greyish tone with a bit of magenta colour.  The stone is likely from India and a natural mined example.  Not a stone that you find very often so it has quite a unique look.   The band is hallmarked for Birmingham 2005 and the maker's mark is GTV.
