Description
A good quality vintage gate bracelet in 9ct gold. It is a five bar type with interlinks and reduces down to two connector rings. It has a traditional padlock style fastening (no key required just uses a spring catch at the top). The links are all articulated to fit well around the wrist and provide movement whilst wearing. The edges are nicely rounded over so it is a particularly comfortable example to wear. Along with the padlock clasp there is a safety chain to provide additional security. To the back of the clasp it is stamped 9ct and has the makers initials JG & S. The style of mark suggests this is likely a 1950's or 1960's piece.
