Description
A vintage sterling silver capstan style inkwell. It has a hinged lid which opens to reveal a gilded section with a glass liner so it is suitable for use as well as decoration. The base has green felt. To the front of the plinth it has a Birmingham hallmark with date letter for 1993. The makers mark is for W I Broadway & Co. It is also marked filled, this is due to non silver material added internally to increase stability.
Condition
Good order with very minor wear. A couple of miniscule pin prick size indents to the top side.
