Description

A very unusual and attractive combination miniature box and brooch.  It is in the form of a pill box or small trinket box.  The lid is set with a polished rose quartz cabochon with a rope twist border.  The base stands on four feet and has  a hallmark to the side.  The hallmark is from the Birmingham assay office with date letter for 1991.  
 
The most interesting part is that when the lid is removed it can be used as a brooch and has a roll over safety catch.  This very unusual feature would make a lovely surprise gift for someone. 
 
 

Condition

Generally very good with light wear in places.  The assay office mark is somewhat rubbed.
