Summary

Description

A 14ct gold ring centred on a cushion cabochon lavender jade set on the diagonal. The stone measures 10.6mm x 10.6mm and has an attractive translucent quality, with the pale violet tone characteristic of good lavender jade. The mount is framed by a concave Greek key border, the slightly recessed profile allowing light to play across the surface of the stone and the surrounding metalwork.

The band has bifurcated shoulders, dividing outward in both directions as they approach the head, and the mount raises the stone clear of the finger. The overall head size including the Greek key surround is 20.7mm x 20.6mm.

Inside the band are multiple marks for 14ct gold together with a full hallmark from the Birmingham assay office with date letter for 2003. The ring was issued by QVC as part of their Gems of the Orient range.

Supplied in a complimentary brand new presentation gift box.
