Georgian drinking glasses are among the most collectable of English glass, with rummers - the broad-bowled, short-stemmed glasses that were the everyday drinking vessel of the late 18th and early 19th century - particularly sought after for their extensive variety of bowl forms and engraving. Victorian and Edwardian examples tend toward more decorative treatments, with engraved, etched and coloured glass well represented. Each piece is individually described with period, form and condition noted.
