Description
An interesting and showy modern dress ring. It is in 9ct gold with a hallmark from the Birmingham assay office with date letter for 2007.
It is set with a blue moon quartz central gem which is oval facet cut to the top and has concave cuts to the pavillion giving an interesting optical effect. The stone has a milky colour and golden fire in the light. Flanking the main stone are two pear cut ice zircon stones, these are natural earth mined gems not to be confused with cubic zirconia (cz). The main stone is approx 3.5 carats originating in Brazil. The ice zircons are about 0.7 carats and come from Tanzania.
The band has bifurcated shoulders in the vertical axis and the stones are lifted on decorative basket mounts to allow more light through. The main stone has a lovely effect of which you can get a partial idea from the video.
This ring was released by Gems TV and retains the original certificate.
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation gift box at no extra charge.
