Summary

A 9ct gold ring set with an oval facet cut spessartite garnet in a deep, saturated orange, with three natural diamond accents to each shoulder, hallmarked Birmingham 2010.

Description

The spessartite sits in a raised claw setting at the centre, its colour a rich burnt orange with strong depth. Under magnification the stone shows a characteristic sugary interior from natural inclusions, the stone is approximately 0.9 carats.

Three small natural diamonds are set into each shoulder, running down either side of the mount in a clean, graduated line. The band tapers slightly from head to reverse.

A full Birmingham hallmark is struck inside the band with a date letter for 2010.

Garnet is the birthstone for January.

Supplied in a complimentary brand new presentation gift box.

Condition

Very good order with minimal signs of wear.
