Description

The ring follows the classic signet form: a plain band that tapers cleanly toward a flat rectangular head. The face carries the word DAD in raised gold lettering, set against a polished black onyx tablet - the contrast between the warm gold and the deep black is sharp and legible without being heavy-handed.

Inside the band it is marked 9K for 9ct gold, with a Birmingham hallmark dating to the late 20th century and the maker's mark STS. The construction is solid throughout - this is not a lightweight piece.
