Summary

A vintage 9ct white gold ring with a central diamond in a circular illusion setting and three smaller diamonds along each shoulder. The raised head sits above a slender, plain band.

Description

The central diamond measures approximately 2mm across, held within a 6mm circular head. Radiating facets in the surrounding white gold extend the pattern of reflected light beyond the stone.

Three smaller diamonds run along each shoulder, set within tapered panels that narrow towards the head. Beneath the centre is an open gallery with triangular openings, while the back of the band has a plain D profile.

Inside the band are the 375 fineness mark and international gold mark for 9ct gold, the Sheffield assay office rose and the maker's mark MJ.

Diamond is the birthstone for April.
