Antique 18ct Gold Natural Sapphire & Diamond Ring Chester 1912 Hallmark (A1903)
Description
A fine antique 18ct gold ring set with natural sapphires and diamonds. The ring has a nice clear hallmark for the Chester assay office with the date letter for 1912. It also has the makers initials C&C or similar. The central sapphire is oval facet cut and approx. 4.6mm x 3.25mm. There is decorative scroll detail to the shoulders and the bridge has panel detail. The ring comes with a period box as seen in the images. This maybe original. The jewellers details inside the lid are for David Summerfield of Newcastle On Tyne.

Condition: Ring very good for period. There is one tiny chip to the edge of a diamond which you will need a magnifier to see. Slight wear to facet edges of sapphires. Box with wear and aging and the flock insert perished. Ring professionally cleaned and polished, ready to wear or gift.
