Description

An early 20th century Art Deco decanter. The glass is press moulded and has silver overlay. The overlay is in scroll detail form and each panel set with a suit from a deck of playing cards. There are no makers details that we can find, however the metal tests as sterling silver.  It  comes with the matching stopper. It is possibly American in origin. 
 
An unusual and interesting item, great for whiskey on poker night!
 
 
Condition

 

Generally pretty good.  Some minor losses of the silver around the foot.  Minor wear. Crimp marks around neck from production. Stopper with some movement but clearly original to the item.
