Description

An early 20th century .800 grade silver box in the form of an ovoid pumpkin or gourd.  It has cloven panels with foliate detail and a pronounced stalk to the top.  To the base it is engraved with a Chinthe lion (the Burmese equivalent to a foo dog).  Aside the etched animal to the base there are no further marks, however the silver tests at around .800 grade which is common for this region.  
 
 

Condition

Good with minor wear.  Please note this is a hand made artisan item not a factory perfect piece.
