Description
An early 19th century Coalport china plate dating around 1820-30. It has the 'dulong' moulded body which is effectively a copy of the Meissen original. It is painted with floral sprays in the moulded reserves and to the center. There are no makers marks, but this is a well referenced design. The ceramic has a distinct yellow tint with a light shone through typical of Coalport from this period.
Condition
Some wear to the decoration particularly to the center. A short tight hairline to the rim. Some green marks to the reverse.
