Description
A lovely early Victorian ring dating to the mid 19th century. It has a rose gold band with decorative bifurcated shoulders and the top is in silver and the gems are paste. To the underside of the head it is marked SIL.SET. Inside the band there is an old hallmark which is partially rubbed and now just reads ct gold. We have tested the gold and it is 9 carat. The stones are multi coloured and give a lovely effect as you can see in the images.
There is some wear to the head and the stones are worn, some of the stones are also glued to the wear over the decades but it still looks lovely and given that it is around 180 years old, you can forgive it the imperfections.
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation box.

Condition: Wear to the mount and some stones are glued in place. One pink and blue stone appear to be replacements. The green stone is also possibly a replacement.
