An Edwardian period sterling silver and cobalt blue glass sugar caster by the noted silversmiths William Hutton and Sons.  It is the Georgian Adams Revival style with bows and swags around the body.  The lid has a bayonet mechanism for secure fitting.  The pedestal base has the hallmark for Birmingham 1907 along with the makers mark and the lid has a partial repeat mark.  The cap has a mix of round and elongated teardrop apertures for the sugar and a twisted ribbed knop with a turned-over end.

Good for period with minor wear.  Glass liner in good order.  Small indent to topside of foot, some rubbing to the hallmarks but still quite legible.
