Description
An early 20th century Limoges enamel brooch painted with a maiden in regal dress. It has foil elements and is naturalistically painted. It has an unusual button hole mechanism with the undertab rotating. It is marked BTE SGDG which is a type of patent mark. There are no hallmarks or detail about the maker but it would appear to be silver gilt. It is very nicely done as you can see in the images and is a very attractive piece.
It comes with the box as seen in the images which may well be original.

Condition: Good order with minor wear to the gilt. Turn mechanism still very stiff suggesting it has had very little use. Box condition with loss of flocking.
