Description

An early 19th century Georgian period pan top rummer glass dating around 1820.  It has the classic pan top shape with thick lower bowl.  It is constructed of three parts and the stem has a merese joint to the bowl for stability.  The foot is thick and conical and the pontil is rough snapped.  It is made in lead glass and is an English example. 
 
 
Condition

 

Minor wear.  A few scratches to the bowl but less than usual for period.  A nice example of its type.
