Description

A large 19th century lead glass rummer.  It would date to the late Georgian or early Victorian period c.1830-1850.  It is a good quality example and nicely etched with hops and barley.  The lower half of the bowl is flute cut and it has a sturdy stem with a central disc knop.  The foot is slightly conical and the pontil scar has been ground and polished out. 
 
 
Condition

 

Good for period with minor wear. Genuine wear to the foot rim.  Some air bubble inclusions as expected for period.
