Antique Islamic Middle Eastern Copper & Brass Pedestal Bowl / Comport (Code 2232)
A late 19th or early 20th century Middle Eastern pedestal bowl. It is made from brass and copper with a decorative knop and copper patterned plate inside the bowl. It is jointed together using a threaded bolt. There are no makers mark which is the norm for such pieces, and it likely comes from the Persian region, items like this were generally made by small artisan shops. Normal age related wear, it leans a little to one side as you can probably ascertain from the images. Nicely constructed and heavy for the size.
