An early 20th century Japanese satsuma pottery small charger dating around 1910 - to the very end of the Meiji period.  It would have been made for export and produced in the Kyoto region.  It features a graduated yellow ground with large flowers heads in raised enamels and a butterfly in the center.  The rim has a decorative pattern with gilt highlights.  It is slightly dished forming a saucer shape overall.  No marks on this example.

Some wear of the gilt around the rim and to the decoration.  Some wear and losses to the white raised enamel on the flowers.  Darkening under glaze marks in general and some patches above and to the left of the butterfly.  Similar under glaze darkening to reverse.  Normal glaze crackle - intentional on these pieces.  General wear.  Some small glaze pops to the face.
