Description

An antique Sowerby pressed glass (three part mould) candlestick. It is in tonal sea blue tones in their malachite type glass. Lots of detail with small roundels having figures and other decorative detail. The rim is polished.  To the underside of the base it has the Sowerby peacock head mark.  These examples date to the late Victorian period. This design of candlestick we do see from time to time, however we have not come across one in this colourway previously. 
 
 
Condition

 

Good for period with minor wear. Minor fritting around the rim. Mould lines visible as expected. See images for overall presentation.
