Antique Staffordshire Porcelain Hand Painted Gilt Dedicated Scenic Loving Cup (Code 1481)
A mid 19th century Staffordshire porcelain loving cup. It has a lakeside scenic hand painted to one side, possibly the lake district. The other side has a dedication to D Smith and it dates 1866 making this a Victorian example. The quality is good with handles which branch at the top. Extensive gilt lining and detail work around the dedication. A fine example for the collector.
Aside a small chip the to underside of the foot rim it is remarkably good for the 150+ years age. Minimal gilt wear and looks very fresh, a highly recommended example.
