Description

An early 20th century Edwardian period ink stand in sterling silver.  It has a Chester hallmark for 1907 and the makers mark is WH.  The base has two prongs for holding a pen and the inkwell is set with a banded agate cabochon to the top of the lid.  There is a partial repeat mark to the inkwell and the inkwell can be unscrewed from the main body for easy cleaning.  There is no lining inside the inkwell section.   

Condition

Good for period with some minor wear as expected.  There are some small knocks and indents around the inkwell and some wear to the base as expected.  There is no liner inside the inkwell.
