Description
An antique Victorian period sterling silver locket and fancy link chain. The locket has chased foliage detail in the acanthus style and the bale has matching decoration. The locket opens with a friction catch.
The left panel has paper lining and the right panel has a retaining ring and acrylic cover. The back of the locket is plain polished and has a Birmingham hallmark for 1878. The maker’s mark is E.U.
The locket comes with a fancy link chain which has spool‑shaped links and an antique‑type spring ring stamped Sterling.

Some small indenting to the reverse of the locket. Chain and spring ring good. One retaining ring and clear cover.
