Description
An antique Victorian period sterling silver Albert watch chain. It has graduated links which have the lion stamp for silver. The links run from 6mm up to 9.1mm. At one end it has a traditional watch hook with hallmarks and it has a matching T bar. There are hallmarks in various places including one with date letter for 1898 with the maker probably for Henry Williamson Ltd.
The chain has a fob with decorative detail and initials to one side. The fob has a registered design number and a hallmark from the Birmingham assay office with date letter for 1903. The maker is likely William Hair Haseler.
A nice example with marked links and graduated size.
