A late 19th century Vienna porcelain charger. It is hand painted with a classical scene 'Verstosung der Hagar' - The Repudiation of Hagar. There is detailed gilt work surrounding the main image with raised details. The painting is signed to the lower right 'Kauffmann'. Cobalt blue border with further gilt detail and white enamel work.
Titled to the reverse in hand painted script and has a blue Vienna type mark. Dates to the late 19th century
Some wear to the gilt and enamel around the border. A few light scratches to the center painting. The white reflections in the blue are from the photographic lighting.
