Description
A mid 19th century Victorian era sauce ladle. It is made from sterling silver and in the king's pattern. To the handle it has the initials JS etched into the silver. To the underside of the handle is the Glasgow assay mark for 1859. The makers initials R.S. are probably for Robert Scott who operated in Glasgow at this time.
Condition
Normal light age related wear and surface scratches.
