Description

A Gucci sterling silver pendant necklace with the Double G logo suspended from a substantial belcher-style chain. The pendant is formed as the interlocking Gucci emblem with a polished silver finish.

The chain measures approximately 48 cm in length and is made from rounded silver links measuring approximately 3.75 mm wide. It is fitted with Gucci's distinctive lobster clasp, which bears Italian silver control marks. The pendant is also marked with a London hallmark, without date letter.

The Double G is one of Gucci's most recognisable house motifs and is used across the firm's jewellery and accessories. Gucci describes the Double G as an archival emblem of the house, and it continues to appear in the current silver jewellery range.

The necklace is accompanied by its Gucci box, fabric pouch and miniature booklet.

Condition

Very good condition overall.

The necklace displays very light signs of handling consistent with occasional use. The polished silver remains bright, the clasp functions correctly and the marks are present. The Gucci box, pouch and booklet are included, with light storage-related wear to the packaging with remains of a paper label to the bottom of the box.
