Description

A distinctive Gucci sterling silver crossover ring with a sculptural asymmetric design.

The ring is formed from a thick rectangular section of silver which twists around the finger before dividing into two raised bar ends. One section rises prominently above the finger and carries deeply stamped GUCCI lettering along its inner facing surface.

It is an unusual design when viewed off the hand, but the form becomes much clearer when worn, with the raised branded bar crossing diagonally above the finger.

The silver section measures approximately 4 x 3.5 mm, giving the ring a solid and reassuring construction suitable for regular wear.

Inside the band is a comprehensive group of marks including ® GUCCI Made in Italy, 925, the Italian manufacturer's registration mark *419 AL, together with an official London sterling silver hallmark.

The *419 AL registration is for jewellery a manufacture in Valenza, Alessandria, and is recorded to Lombardi / Vendorafa, a long established Italian jewellery manufacturer producing for some of Italy's top designers.

No original Gucci packaging or paperwork is included.

Condition

Very good pre-owned condition. The ring has been polished and shows only light surface wear consistent with normal use. The substantial silver construction is in very good order.
