Pair Antique Silver Plated over Copper Telescopic Candlesticks - Victorian Era (Code 2563)

Description

A pair of 19th century Victorian period silver plate over copper candlesticks.  They are of telescoping form with approx 5cm lift.  The bases have a cast band of decorative detail and the bases are loaded and felt covered.  There is a mark inside one of the sconces possibly 'VV' or 'W'. 

Condition

Some wear to the silver with the copper showing through in areas.  One of the telescoping sections doesn't hold tightly when in extended position.  Base felt worn but appears original.  Minor knocks and dents, primarily around the bases.  Some scratches to the drip pans.
