Description
A retro 1970's 9ct gold ring. It has textured shoulder and quite a wide band. It is set with an intense royal blue spinel which is lab grown. Lab grown stones are identical to natural gems and test the same but they are generally free of impurities and faults unlike mined stones. As they are created in a lab they do not have the environment issues of mined stones or have the worry of social problems making them an increasingly popular choice.
The main stone is surrounded by a halo of clear gems. Due to the setting we cannot test them accurately but believe that they are also spinels. Inside the band is a full hallmark for 9 carat gold from the Birmingham assay office with the makers initials being W &G. The date letter is for 1976.
Ring will be supplied with a brand new presentation box as seen in the images.
