Description

A clean, unfussy money clip in highly polished sterling silver. The face is flat with gently curved edges that catches the light along its length. The sprung clip design holds notes securely without bulk.

Struck to the face is the full Millennium hallmark set, applied to some pieces assayed in the year 2000 to mark the occasion: the maker's mark RC for Carr's of Sheffield, the 925 millesimal fineness mark, the Sheffield assay office mark, and the distinctive Millennium commemorative mark - the cross-shaped symbol issued for that year only. Carr's of Sheffield are one of Britain's most respected silversmithing houses, with a long history of producing fine quality silver accessories.
