A Tiffany & Co. Metropolis sterling silver cuff bangle, complete with its original Tiffany blue presentation box. The Metropolis is one of Tiffany's most recognisable cuff designs, distinguished by the row of flush set screw head details running along each edge of the flat top face.

Description

A Tiffany & Co. Metropolis open cuff bangle made from heavy gauge sterling silver. The broad polished band has raised edge borders punctuated by small recessed screw head motifs, giving the otherwise restrained design an industrial style.

The inside is marked © Tiffany & Co. 925 and carries a full London assay hallmark for 2008. The bangle has a substantial solid feel  and weighs 68.9 grams.  The Metropolis range was made in much smaller numbers than many of the other Tiffany lines, so is consequently harder to find.  This range is marked by very heavy construction and with a fit of 18.cm this item would also be suitable as a medium mans size.

Condition

Very good condition with minor surface wear consistent with previous use. The exterior is well polished and presents nicely.
