Description

Designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co., these sterling silver Open Heart stud earrings carry the clean, flowing lines that defined her approach to jewellery. 

Peretti joined Tiffany & Co. in 1974 and spent decades reshaping what fine jewellery could look like, drawing on organic forms and a sculptor's instinct for negative space. The Open Heart collection is among her most recognised, and has remained in continuous production for good reason.

The earrings are fitted with posts and butterfly backs for pierced ears. The reverse of each earring is struck with the full Tiffany & Co. hallmark: Tiffany & Co., Elsa Peretti, 925, Spain. The butterfly backs are separately marked T&Co. 925.

Condition

Good condition with light signs of wear consistent with careful use. The posts and butterfly backs are secure and function correctly.
