Description
A vintage 18ct gold ring with platinum head and shoulder tops. It would date to the 1940's or possibly just into the 1950's where designs were starting to move away from the Art Deco. The diamond is set in a squared off basket mount with cut out details. The shoulders are bifurcated vertically and have round details. The diamond is a slightly older style cut with few inclusions around VS2 clarity. The diamond measures approx. 3mm in diameter. Inside the band it has an older style British hallmark without date letter reading 18ct PLAT and the makers initials are HS. It is a nice dainty example.
It comes in a new presentation gift box as seen in the images.
