Description
An interesting vintage ring in 9ct gold. It is set with a high domed polished cabochon which is a natural black star diopside. Under soft light the stone has a small shimmer but when exposed to a sharp light you get a four pointed star as can be seen in the images. The stone is lifted high in the mount with decorative details below and the shoulders are bifurcated. The band has a warm tone heading towards rose gold rather than a traditional yellow gold. The cabochon appears to be natural and is probably of Indian origin. The 9ct gold mark inside the band is typical for items from the 1970's period.
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation box as seen in the images.
